Seeking therapy is a brave step, and I’m here to guide you in the changes you want to see. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental, healing space where you feel safe to be your true self and express your thoughts and emotions authentically. Whether we’re navigating laughter, tears, or moments of deep insight, I am here to support you in empowering your therapy journey.
My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative, and I believe in creating a safe, open, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up authentically. I believe my clients are capable of incredible change, and I am committed to learning about your story so that we can engage your strengths and address any behaviors or cognitive thought patterns that do not benefit you. As humans, we are wired for connection and growth, and I’m here to help you tap into that while also providing a space where you can feel hopeful, resilient, and empowered.
My style is compassionate, supportive, gentle, and also direct. I show up as my genuine self and employ humor during sessions as a way of finding moments of joy during highs, lows, and the everyday moments in between. Therapy with me is grounded in evidence-based approaches, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Couples Method. I integrate approaches from systemic therapy and can guide you in exploring and unraveling the diverse array of life factors, past and present, that interconnect and influence your overall well-being.
For couples, I work to understand your relationship dynamics comprehensively so that we can address any maladaptive patterns and communication styles to enhance your growth as a couple. I also have extensive experience working with children, including children with neurodiversity, which is informed by my previous background working as a teacher and in childcare. I take a holistic approach here as well, working collaboratively with parents to understand the dynamics within their family to best support the needs of the family as a whole.
I enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds, valuing the uniqueness of every person and relationship and will tailor my approach to best fit each client. I look forward to meeting you, nurturing your growth and insight, and finding peace along the way.
